Presidents Trophy

Presented each year for achievement in the previous calendar year.

The trophy will normally be awarded for the longest straight line flight made in a foot launched hang glider by a member of the BHPA. The flight is to start in the UK

However, in any year in which the longest distance claimed is less than the award distance of the previous year, the trophy shall, for one year , be awarded for exceptional services to British Hang Gliding. The distance clock is then reset.

This rule, for special circumstances, has and can be overridden
